Utah Drug Seizure Statistics Dashboard
Utah Drug Seizure Statistics Dashboard Overview
The Utah Fentanyl Task Force Drug Seizure Statistics Dashboard provides an interactive view of drug seizure activity within Utah. This dashboard serves as a resource for law enforcement agencies, policymakers, researchers, and the public to comprehend patterns in drug enforcement and trafficking. Its purpose is to aid in strategic planning and enhance situational awareness in the ongoing efforts to counter illicit drug distribution.
Seizure data was collected from 17 drug task forces across Utah through a collaborative effort involving the Utah Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice (CCJJ), Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Areas (RM HIDTA), and the Statewide Information and Analysis Center (SIAC). Overdose data, which was obtained from the Utah Medical Examiner Database, was provided by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services.
Key features of the dashboard include:
- Seizure Volume and Type: Displays the total quantities of drugs seized, broken down by drug type.
- Time Trends: Graphs illustrate changes in seizure patterns over time.
