Threat Management Unit
The Threat Management Unit (TMU) within the Department of Public Safety is dedicated to the proactive prevention and thorough investigation of targeted violence and cyber crimes within our jurisdiction.
At TMU, our proactive measures encompass robust community engagement initiatives, the facilitation of multidisciplinary threat assessment teams, and the provision of comprehensive training to law enforcement agencies and mental health professionals in the utilization of structured professional judgment tools.
In our investigative endeavors, we benefit greatly from our collaborative partnerships with federal and local agencies, further bolstered by our strategic positioning within Utah's Statewide Information Analysis Center, the state's premier fusion and intelligence hub.
